• Sunday Mornings

Our Sunday morning worship gatherings are at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Both services follow the same format. Find directions here.

Our Sunday morning worship gathering is central to our life as a church family. Sometimes it can feel a little awkward visiting a new place, and so here is some information to help you feel more comfortable and more welcome:

    Teaching

The Word of God is the heart of our worship. Each week, the Bible is faithfully taught to reveal God’s good news and work his love deeper into our hearts. A pastor will read a passage from Scripture, explain what it means, and help us apply it to our daily lives. Our goal is not just knowledge, but transformation—so that God’s truth shapes the way we live, love, and serve.

    Praying

Prayer is a vital part of our gatherings. We bring our weaknesses, needs, and joys before God, trusting in his strength and grace. Throughout the service, prayers are offered corporately, and at the close, there is always an opportunity to be prayed for by others—reminding us that we are a community that lifts one another to the Lord.

    Singing

Worship begins with song, lifting our hearts to God and declaring his truth together. Our congregational singing is carefully chosen for biblical richness, God-centered focus, and singable melodies, spanning both ancient and modern hymns. Singing is not only praise—it is also ministry to one another. As we sing, we teach, encourage, and admonish each other in the truth of God’s Word, shaping our hearts and minds and pointing us all more fully to Christ.

  • What about kids?

We can’t wait to meet your kids in Kids on the Rock (KotR) and support your family as you disciple your kids in their walks with Christ.

At Solid Rock, our heart is for your whole family to grow in Christ. We love seeing families worship together. Kids worship with their parents in the 8:30am service. When you arrive for our 10:30am service, please stop by and check in with one of our friendly Check-In Team Members in the foyer. After that, bring your kids with you into the sanctuary so you can enjoy the opening worship time in song together.

Partway through the service, kids will be dismissed to their classes. They’ll meet in the foyer, where our team will guide them to KotR If you’d like to walk your child to their class, especially if it’s their first time, just let a Check-In Team Member know, and we’ll give you a parent pass so you can accompany them.

Kids on the Rock Classes (ages 3-10)

We offer classes for ages 3 through age 10. Once kids head downstairs with our team, all kids gather for a fun and engaging time together where they’ll hear a gospel-centered message as they travel through the Bible. Our Hosts use storytelling, games, activities, and play to reinforce the message for that day. Afterward, kids break into age-specific classrooms where their Teachers guide them in making real-life connections to the gospel.

    Nursery Care (Ages 0–3)

If you’d prefer nursery care during the music portion of our Main Service, we offer early check-in at 10:10am. Just stop by the Check-In area when you arrive, and our team will get your little one settled in the Nursery.

    Junior High (Ages 11–13)

Junior High students have their own optional class that meets on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. On the first and third Sundays, they sit with their parents in the Main Service and take sermon notes in a provided notebook. On the second and fourth Sundays, they meet with their Leaders to talk about what they’ve been learning. If your student would like to join, ask a Check-In Team Member for a notebook.

We are a Special Needs Friendly ministry and are currently developing a dedicated space and team to serve kids with special needs. We know every child is unique, so we partner with parents to help their kids feel included and have fun at KotR. If you’d like more information, a Check-In Team Member can connect you with our Kids on the Rock Coordinator.

Our Kids on the Rock Team Members joyfully serve your kids while following strict safety standards. Each team member has been thoroughly screened, background-checked, and trained in their area of service to ensure your children are safe, cared for, and encouraged in their faith.

We can’t wait to meet your family and walk alongside you as you disciple your kids in their relationship with Christ.

  • Classes for Adults

We offer classes for adults from 9 to 10 am and from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Throughout the year we offer Core classes where we do a deep dive into the basics of Christian faith and practice. Click the button below to see current class offerings.

  • What should I wear?

Our dress code is simply that you come dressed! Some will come dressed business casual, others will come in jeans and t-shirt. Since God looks at the heart, we prioritize the heart, not the outward appearance.
