Church can be a fun and exciting place to learn about life and God. Your kids will love it here!
Kids stay with their parents in our 8:30am service. At the 10:30am service, we have special classes for kids ages 3-10. Nursery is available for the 10:30 a.m. service.

We’re so excited to be refreshing and expanding our Kids on the Rock classrooms, and we’d love your help! Below you’ll find Amazon Wish Lists for each age group: Nursery, Younger Kids Class 1, Younger Kids Class 2, Older Kids, and Junior High. Each list is filled with fun, engaging items that will help create welcoming spaces where kids can learn, grow, and have fun.
Simply choose a class, pick an item (or two!), and decide how you’d like to share your gift:
• Ship it directly to Solid Rock
• Drop it off at the church office
• Hand it to a Check-In Team Member on Sunday morning
Our goal is to have our classrooms fully stocked by March, and every gift, big or small, makes a difference. Don’t see something on the lists that you’d love to give? Please connect with the KotR Coordinator, we’d be happy to chat! Thank you for partnering with us and investing in the hearts of our kids!
“We will not hide them from their children but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord.” (Psalm 78:4)
At Solid Rock, our goal is to partner with parents in discipling kids. We want children to experience gospel-centered lessons while having fun with purpose. Our desire is to teach God’s truth with grace, pointing kids to Christ, not just to rules or moralism.
Curriculum
Solid Rock uses The Gospel Project Curriculum in Kids on the Rock. This Christ-centered, chronological study walks kids through the Bible, showing how every story points to Jesus. From Nursery through the Older Class, all kids learn the same story and focus on the same key passage each week, making it easy for families to continue the conversation at home. Kids will also receive a handout after class to guide family discussions.
Host Time & Class Time
We know visiting a new church can feel overwhelming, so we start each KotR Service with Host Time, a 15-minute gathering where kids ages 3–10 hear the week’s Bible story together. During this time, Hosts use songs, skits, games, and activities to make the message engaging and memorable.
After Host Time, kids move to their age-appropriate classrooms, where Teachers help them apply the lesson to their own lives and connect everything back to Christ.
Class Placement
We recognize that readiness and maturity are just as important as age. If your child is new, our Kids on the Rock Coordinator will work with you to determine which class best fits your child.
